AI Smart Fishing Rod System
An ESP32 vibration-sensing and ThingSpeak notification prototype; second place in Lunghwa University’s 2024 academic-year student project competition.

Use case
Anglers may not notice a bite immediately. This prototype uses a microcontroller and vibration sensor to detect changes in force and provide a timely notification.
System flow
Vibration sensing → ESP32 → Wi-Fi upload to ThingSpeak → live monitoring and push notifications.
My contribution
I optimized program logic and the end-to-end workflow to improve notification timeliness and reliability during fishing trials.
Outcome
Second place in Lunghwa University’s student project competition for academic year 2024. The award certificate is dated February 27, 2025.
